The people at Proshade are geniuses. About a week ago, they offered the US Parks Services $4 million to put their Proshade visors on the Presidents on Mount Rushmore.
My initial thought on this was: "have they now shame?" I mean, when will advertisers stop? It's no wonder that Americans are lashing out against advertising.
But here's the thing, they don't need to even do the project. By merely THINKING of the idea has gotten them press in the Miami Herald, Kansas City Star and the Pittsburgh Post Gazette. In fact, I'd venture to say this idea has already generated more impressions than had they quietly actually DONE the project. Smart thinking, especially since it never happened.
