You go girl!!

Carianne

She looks as if she went swimming in tar... Gotta love muddy season with dogs, or not...

Katie

Yep, that looks familiar, although the bulldogs in this household wouldn't be caught dead TOUCHING MUD. The Border Collie, on the other hand, has some sort of magnetic attraction to the stuff. He comes in covered in mud even when there is no mud. He's amazing.

And I swear she was outside for about 4 minutes to get like this. If there is one muddy spot, she'll find it -- apparently like Katie's Border Collie. One of my others came in completely clean because he doesn't like getting his feet wet.

grins... gotta love mud season - I must take a picture of my back yard which with the imprecations of 4 dogs is simply a BIG mud bath - perhaps I should put SPA on it and charge. And I highly recommend you pick up a copy of Robert Munsch's Mud Puddle... although a kid's book I think you'll read it and see STELLA!!

Awwww, what a cute photo!

What a hoot - great picture.

As a favor, I took my dog and my friend's two white Am Staffs hiking because she and her husband just had their first baby a couple of weeks ago. When we were almost back to the car, I was patting myself on the back at keeping the dogs relatively clean for the time of year when I heard this sucking noise. Yep, Eleanor (one of the white dogs) was lying on her side in a swamp. I wasn't sure if she decided to just lie down or whether the mud sucked her in. It wasn't pretty and neither was my car after the ride home. You'll know what I mean if you've ever smelled a swamp.
