Once again, Kansas City will be participating in the national Roverlution/Pit Bull Awareness Day Festivities. This is our fourth year of participating in this nationwide event.
The Event will be held at Penn Valley Park (on the North side of the Dog Park) on Saturday, Oct 24th from 11 am to 2pm.
The event is being held specifically to help create awareness of what activity is taking place in Kansas City the help us become a No Kill metropolitan area. Information will be available on No Kill Advocacy Education, awareness of the problems being caused by breed specific legislation in the community, low-cost spay/neuter programs, and most importantly, an adoption event for Halfway Homes Pet Adoptions, Mid America Bully Breed Rescue, Animal Haven, M'Shoogy's, Missouri Pit Bull Rescue, Spay/Neuter Kansas City and other metropolitan area rescue groups. Kansas City Dog Advocates will also be on hand to talk about what is going on in legislation advocacy in the metro.
Come out and join the Roverlution.
