John Garcia and Georgia will be on Larry King Live tonight at 9 pm EST (7 pm MST) on CNN.
Last night, Mike Vick got to be in the limelight on 60 Minutes (I haven't gotten a chance to watch yet, an update will be forthcoming), but this will be a nice yang to last night's program. Garcia has been great in previous interviews he's done with Georgia.
In spite of what many want to say about Mike Vick, his most lasting legacy may end up being his dogs. Dogs like Georgia, that show that in spite of breeding and in spite of training, dogs, regardless of breed, respond positively to loving and caring homes.
And yes, I do think that it's possible for 47 dogs to completely change the way we view an entire breed of dogs -- proving with individual stories what science has told us all along.
Those comments by John Garcia - "focus on the future", "we're the home of second chances" class act all the way.
Thanks for the heads up Brent!
