Sadness

Steve has the followup to the awful story that wrote about on Sunday.  Sadly, not all stories have a happy ending.

It makes me so angry that responsible owners of "pit bull type dogs" would take time and animal control resources away from dealing with abuse cases like this one....the people who are commiting real crimes.

This story is extremely rough to take. It is heartbraking and rips my heart to shreds. PEOPLE, PEOPLE, PEOPLE. HUMANS. HERE IS THE FAILURE! And this failure on ALL of our parts, as well as lawmakers, ignorant citizens, and the media is exactly that -- HUMAN FAILURE AFTER HUMAN FAILURE. Please tell me HOW and WHY people do not see this???

This poor child is in my thoughts and pleading prayers tonite.

Peoples deeds have far exceeded the imaginations of our worst story tellers.

Take your pick; dumping baby in dumpster, car bomb, killing wife number two and three, killing a college student on the beach etc...

Yes Doug. One tragedy doesn't eliminate another one. With humans now days, there is more than enough to go around. It always comes down to the inability of humans to actually function like the "higher beings".
