This gem is from the San Jose Mercury News. A 2 year old child was allegedly "chased" by two pit bulls.
The child was found unharmed at home. The dogs were found at home minding their own business.
This folks, made the news. This wasn't a bite. It wasn't an attack. It wasn't even an "almost attack". If these dogs were in any way trying to attack a 2 year old that they were "chasing down the street", they would have caught her.
The only reason that this is in the newspaper is because they got to use "pit bull" in the headline.
It's pathetic. And even worse that people can't see throught it.
Maybe the dogs were just making sure the little 2 yr old got home safely, because her MOTHER sure wasn't keeping an eye on her.

Man,
I wish this imaginary breed "Pitbull" would start chasing reporters and politicians and lick or hug some of them till they scream for mercy.

It just clicked...some pissed off and/or pit bull hating neighbor reported this. I can't get to the article but it seems like the owners/parents weren't interviewed for their side of the story.

Hmm. Looks like the Mercury News took down the article over the weekend...bummer. It was a classic one.
